Abstract: Abstract:Â Effectiveness Filtrate Comparative of Guava Juice (Psidium guajava L.) and Tomato Juice (Solanum lycopersicumL.) as Laxative. To realize the health status of the highest for the public, health care effort of modern and traditional. One of the effects of modern lifestyle is a diet that causes constipation. One of the traditional medicine for treating constipation with natural ingredients using guava juice and tomato juice.Type of research is experimental by using rangcangan completely randomized (CRD) is to test the effects of guava fruit juice and tomato juice as a laxative in Swiss-Webster mice. The independent variable of this study is the number of fruit guava and tomatoes are used in the form of juice and the dependent variable of the study was the amount of stool, stool weight and consistency beses.The results showed guava juice 200 grams and 200 grams of tomato juice has the ability to increase the frequency of bowel movements and stool weight. While the consistency of the stool becomes more tender than the negative control. It can be concluded guava juice 200 grams and 200 grams of tomato juice has the ability as laksansia.

Abstrak: Perbandingan Efektivitas Filtrat Jus Jambu Biji (Psidium guajava L.) dan Jus Tomat (Solanum lycopersicum L.) Sebagai Laksansia ( Pencahar).  Untuk mewujudkan derajat kesehatan yang setinggi-tingginya bagi masyarakat, dilakukan upaya pelayanan kesehatan modern dan tradisional. Salah satu dampak dari gaya hidup modern adalah pola makan yang menyebabkan sembelit. Salah satu pengobatan tradisional untuk mengatasi sembelit dengan bahan alam menggunakan jus jambu biji dan jus tomat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan bersifat eksperimental  dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yaitu untuk menguji efek jus buah jambu biji dan jus buah tomat sebagai pencahar pada mencit Swiss-Webster. Variabel bebas dari penelitian ini adalah banyaknya buah jambu biji dan tomat yang digunakan dalam bentuk jus dan variabel terikat dari penelitian ini adalah jumlah feses, berat beses dan konsistensi feses.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jus jambu biji 200 gr dan jus tomat 200 gr mempunyai kemampuan meningkatkan frekuensi defekasi dan berat feses. Sementara konsistensi feses menjadi lebih lembek dibanding kontrol negative. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan jus jambu biji 200 gr dan jus tomat 200 gr mempunyai kemampuan sebagai laksansia.
