Article Processing Charges

The Jurnal Ilmu Keperawatan Sai Betik (JIK-SB) is a fully open-access journal. The journal's costs are solely covered by Author Processing Charges (APCs). There are no subscription fees for our readers, and we do not charge page or figure fees to our authors. APCs cover the costs of peer-review administration and management, technical editing, typesetting, professional article production, website maintenance, and a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) number for each article, in addition to other publishing-related functions. Accordingly, all authors of accepted articles will receive an invoice charging the IDR APCs. 0.00 for Indonesian authors or USD 0,00 for non-Indonesian authors (including VAT and local taxes).

For foreign authors or Indonesian authors collaborating with foreign authors, we provide free APC fees.

If your manuscript passes the initial review and receives approval for publication, the editorial team will send you information via email or OJS regarding the payment process. A letter of acceptance (LOA) will be issued upon completion of payment. The time required varies. The submission process, from start to LOA issuance, takes approximately 4-8 weeks. The time from submission to publication is approximately 3-8 months.

If you do not have the funds to cover these fees, you can request a publication fee waiver. We will consider fee waivers for high-quality manuscripts with a significant impact on science.
