Gambaran Penggunaan Obat Pada Pasien Gastritis Di Puskesmas Yosomulyo

Health development is currently faced with two problems, the first one is infectious diseases which are public health problem that has not been addressed much. On the other hand there has been an increase in non-communicable diseases (NCDs) cases which caused mainly by lifestyle. Gastritis is one of the most common digestive tract health problems. This study aimed to determine the description of drug use in gastritis patients at the Yosomulyo Health Center, metro city. This research uses a retrospective descriptive method, using secondary data from patient prescriptions taken at the Yosomulyo Community Health Center using accidental sampling techniques. Data was obtained in the period January to December 2023. Results are presented in the form of frequency distribution and percentages. The results of the study showed that of the 100 gastritis patients, the majority were female, 72 patients (72%), while the most common age group was adults, namely 18-44 years, 44 patients (44%), with the highest level of education being high school. High school education with a percentage of 65% (65 patients) and gastritis sufferers are experienced mainly by patients who work as housewives with a percentage of 52% (52 patients). The type of drug most commonly used is antacid drugs, with a percentage of 57% (81 drugs). Single and combination drug therapy can be seen that the most widely used single therapy is antacid drugs with a percentage of 74.6% (44 drugs), one the most widely used combination is the Antacid + Lansoprazole combination with a percentage of 43.9% (18 drugs). The most common use and dosage regimen is 400 mg antacid tablets 3 times a day, 1 tablet before meals, with a percentage of 52.1% (74 drugs).
