PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN PERAWATAN IBU NIFAS TERHADAP PENGETUAN, SIKAP, DAN KEPUASAN IBU POST PARTUM DI RS M. YUSUF KALIBALANGAN LAMPUNG UTARA

Abstract

Self caring ability of post partum mother can’t optimized because there are factors that influenced, that are mother’s education level, mother’s age, parity, social culture, information instrument and health facilities in society. Purpose of this study is to know influence of mother’s post partum health education towards knowledge, attitude and satisfaction of post partum mother in M. Yusuf  Kalibalangan hospital along july-agustus 2013. The study design is experiment quasi with pre test= post test design approach and use intervention group and control group. This study involves 15 respondents for intervention group and 15 respondents for control group with purposive sampling technique. The result of this study show if in α = 0,05 there is influence of post partum mother health education towards post partum mother’s knowledge (p value = 0,025). there is influence of post partum mother health education towards post partum mother’s attitude (p value = 0,0000), and there is influence of post partum mother health education towards post partum mother’s satisfaction ( p value = 0,025). The result showed influence postpartum maternal care health education on the knowledge of post partum mother. Suggestion for hospital’s worker is has corporate with other health worker so pregnant mom interest to join prenatal class.
